The Effanbee brand (for “F and B”) Doll Co. is one of the oldest doll brands in America. It was founded in 1910 by Bernard Fleischaker and Hugh Baum. Patsy Effanbee

One of the most famous dolls, created in 1927, is “Patsy, the doll that looks like a real girl.” Consequently she was the first doll to have a wardrobe of clothes, with her clothes and accessories.

The Patsy doll had its splendor in the 1930s, She was a popular toy even during the Great Depression.

Patsy and her family were made in many sizes. Patsy was 35 cm tall.

The doll was originally made of composite material with painted eyes and a small, closed mouth. It was copied by many other manufacturers. The doll was sold until about the 1950s.

The Patsy model was used on several ethnic dolls, such as a black Patsy and a Chinese Patsy. Patsy Effanbee

Patsy was remembered by many and, in 1976, was reissued in a limited edition. A Patsy vinyl was made in the 1980s and another reissue was made in 2000.
