The restoration of a religious image has as its main objective to return to the object its originality and functionality for which it was designed and created.
Before proceeding with the restoration, it is often necessary to document the piece beforehand.
The restoration of religious imagery, may include the repair of some of the broken or missing parts such as ornaments, bases or ends of the carving. In the restoration process itself, we always try to use the same materials as the originals of the carving or figure, either plaster, paste or wood.

A volumetric reconstruction of all the fingers has been carried out, such as the consolidation of the cracks and their dissimulation; pictorial reintegration looking for the same colors.
