Virgin Our Lady of Sorrows The Virgin of Sorrows is an invocation of the Virgin Mary. She is also known as the Virgin of Bitterness, the Virgin of Piety, of Sorrows or La Dolorosa. His feast day is September 15; Their clothing is usually black or purple.
The seven sorrows of Mary are a set of events in the life of the Virgin Mary that are a popular devotion and are frequently found in art. These seven sorrows should not be confused with the five mysteries of sorrow of the Rosary.

The Olot Workshops
The founding of the first workshop was in November 1880, creating an industrial society, the objective was the construction, decoration and sale of religious sculptures with the name “Christian Art.” J. Berga and Company»

Starting in 1960, the crisis was felt again. The changes in rituals imposed by the Second Vatican Council caused a great decrease in the demand for religious images.
Production decreased and at the same time the number of workshops and workers. To partially solve this crisis, DIMOSA (Olot SA Image Distributor) was founded in 1964, with the participation of most industries. The marketing process of the saints of Olot was united through this society.
