Celluloid Schildkröt Babi 1925. This doll arrived in my hands in perfect condition, only the rubber bands have been changed. The eyes are fixed and made of glass. It measures about 32 cm.

The body and the body have the drawing of a turtle inside a diamond and the mold number 32 and the head number 26. Mark attributed to Schildkröt.

Bebi 1925

Subsequently, It was offered in various sizes and designs; with a fixed or movable head; with the baby’s body sitting or the doll with the baby’s body standing up.

The bodies have the same arm position, practically at a right angle. The position of the fingers of the two hands has the index finger and the little finger slightly extended outwards and the two middle fingers joined and inclined towards the inside of the palm of the hand.

 While the right hand points towards the body and the left hand points outwards.

During its production, Celluloid Schildkröt Babi 1925 produced three different seated baby models and one different model for the standing doll.

To clarify, The bodies used for the Bebi 1925 model were sometimes marked with the number 1925 or just 25, the year it was created.

Celluloid Schildkröt Babi 1925 was available in a flesh-colored, glossy or matte skin tone, or black celluloid; with molded hair, with eyes painted differently with or without delinquency; with a closed or open molded mouth with indicated tongue.
